Misua Soup - Filipino Food Recipe

 

Misua Soup Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup finely minced onion

  • 1 small bundle or 2 oz.. misua (sold in Oriental food stores)

  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable or corn oil

  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

  • 1 cup ground pork loin

  • 4 cups water

  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions

  • 3 eggs, beaten

  • 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic1 tablespoon finely minced garlic

Misua Soup Cooking Instructions:

  • Break down noodles into 3-inch lengths. Heat oil in a medium saucepan.

  • Stir fry garlic and onion and then Pour in pork and brown. Pour in water, salt and pepper.

  • Bring to a quick boil. Slowly pour in raw, beaten eggs.

  • Pour in misua and simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Serve hot, garnished with scallions. Serves 4.
